Candidate for Arizona House of Representatives
I’m Don Kissinger
I’m a husband, father of three, and grandfather of four. My family and I moved to Peoria, Arizona in 1986 and my wife and I have lived here ever since.
I’m a retired mechanical engineer, and I worked at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating station for 30 years.
I’m a strong advocate for public education, having raised our two daughters and son in Arizona, where they attended the Peoria Unified School District. I also currently have two grandchildren in the Arizona public school system.
Over the last 30 years I’ve watched the water crisis in Arizona get worse and I firmly believe that climate change, the associated water shortages, and extreme heat are some of the most important issues facing our state.
I’m running for the Arizona House of Representatives because I think the voters of District 27 deserve a real choice in the General Election.
